Benefits of UV LED Lashes

  • Increased retention

Due to this curing method, the bond is extremely strong and oil resistant, which is a major benefit if you are someone who struggles with lash retention, has oily skin and/or hair, or has lashes that are very thick/straight and have had trouble holding extensions in the past. The adhesive cures instantly and does not require that you keep them dry for 24 hours to avoid unstable curing and extension loss. If you're a swimmer or a gym enthusiast, this revolutionary solution is about to change your lash game forever!

  • Minimal vapours - lower allergy risk

Customer’s allergy risk is reduced by 80% because because the glue is directly cured, it no longer emits fumes. Normal eyelash adhesives take about 48 hours to cure completely and continue to emit fumes during this period.

Difference between  UV LED Lashes and Regular Lashes?

The main difference is the curing process. Regular glue relies on air exposure, while UV glue needs UV light to set. This affects how quickly the extensions are secure and how soon after application the client can resume normal activities like showering or swimming.

1. Regular lash glue:
- Dries and cures when exposed to air
- Takes about 24-48 hours to fully set
- Often requires clients to avoid water, steam, and excessive heat during this time
- Generally contains cyanoacrylate as the main adhesive ingredient

2. UV lash glue:
- Requires exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light to cure and set
- Cures almost instantly when exposed to UV light (usually 10-15 seconds)
- Allows clients to get their lashes wet or expose them to heat immediately after application
- Often contains photoinitiators that react to UV light, causing rapid polymerization

This revolutionary technique takes eyelash extensions to a whole new level. The biggest difference is the adhesive type used, and the curing technique.  A special LED lamp is used intermittently to cure each lash individually and completely. It is an advanced technique, where a high level of skill and precision are needed, but when done by an experienced professional, the results in terms of retention will generally surpass those of traditional eyelash extensions. Our system has been rigorously tested and is 100% safe! The optical radiation safety of this lamp was tested by an accredited laboratory, demonstrating that no hazards are posed to the skin or eye area in normal use.
